The “Story Quilt” will be made by Latvians who live outside Latvia, and who are asked to create a square, using various techniques, which will be sewn together to create a quilt. The quilt will be gifted to Latvia on the occasion of its 100th birthday.

The exhibition "Akademia: Performing Life" / International exhibition series Portable Landscapes

The exhibition "Akademia: Performing Life" will look at narratives and themes springing from Akademia, a community and an alternative school that offered courses in dance, art and crafts, hosted an art gallery and a publishing house and staged theatre and dance pieces between the 1910s and 1970s in Paris.

Lakstīgala (The Nightingale) - Latvian Folk Son Singing Competition for School Age Children

Latvian exile director, publicist, and teacher Roberts Zuika started this tradition in 2003. Using Zuika's Latvian folk song collection, children learn Latvian folk songs and compete to see who knows them best.
