The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra will perform under the conductor Andris Poga. The programme includes Mussorgsky’s Night on the Bare Mountain, Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G with the Bulgarian pianist Plamena Mangova.
February 1-5 the Orchestra will take part in the festival “Crazy Days in Nantes” playing nine concerts and performing several Latvian masterpieces as Melancholic Waltz by Emīls Dārziņš and Tango by Arturs Maskats.
