International Student Song and Dance Festival Gaudeamus
International Student Song and Dance Festival Gaudeamus will take place in Tartu from 22 to 24 June, bringing together thousands of high-level performers from the Baltics.
Latvian delegates head off to London Book Fair
The London Book Fair 2018 will take place from 10th to 12th April, and Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have been selected to be this year’s Market Focus Countries. To celebrate this occasion, more than 40 events related to Latvian literature will be hosted in the Book Fair and other venues across London.

In February, landscape art object “The Gate of Honor”, inaugurated early 2018, symbolically tells the tale of the Baltic States’ - Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia – centenary. Three flags intertwine in a unified pattern depicting each country’s centenary symbol whilst recounting history’s important events.
