Exhibition "Symbolism in Baltic Art"
The exhibition Symbolism in Baltic Art will be one of the most ambitious joint projects for the Baltic Centenary and among the largest centenary events to take place abroad. The exhibition will open at the beginning of April 2018 in one of the most influential museums in the world – the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
August 23 – the Baltic Centenary Way videoproject launch at dawn
On August 23, the sound of drums by the National Library of Latvia will wake Rīga up at dawn 06:07 a.m, signalling the launch of the videoproject, Baltic Centenary Way.

On Aug.23 three cakes will travel from Riga to Estonia, Lithuania, and Finland. Passed on from hand to hand, cakes will be our greeting to our neighbours on their centenaries. The event will be filmed to make a national video greeting.

In April 2017, the Baltic Academies’ Orchestra /BAO/, which unites the young talents from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, took up to its concert tour devoted to the Centenaries of the Baltic States.
Baltic states to mint joint centenary coin
The central banks of the three Baltic states are to produce a joint €2 coin to celebrate their centenaries, the Latvian central bank (LB) said January 31.
