Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way, this morning more than 100 dancers performed one of the noblest Latvian national dances – Gatves Deja on the runway of Riga International Airport.

On the 23rd of August from 5 pm, the amateur art and popular music event Brālība. Brolybė. Brotherhood will take place on the Latvian-Lithuanian border in Grenctāle.
International conference The Baltic Way.Continuation.The Baltic Way 30 / Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact 80
The conference will feature speakers from the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden and Germany, who will analyse the democratic revolutions of the 1980s in Eastern and Central Europe, their affiliation and the role of the Baltic Way in these events. The conference will also address challenges to democracy in the 21st century.
Baltic Film Days
The Baltic Film Days is an initiative that is co-produced by three film institutions – the Latvian National Film Centre, the Lithuanian Film Centre and the Estonian Film Institute – to strengthen cooperation in cinema between the three Baltic States and to raise the audience’s knowledge of films by their neighbours.
