Prime Ministers of the Baltic States to mark the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way in Riga
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Baltic Way, Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš has invited Jüri Ratas, Prime Minister of Estonia, and Saulius Skvernelis, Prime Minister of Lithuania, to visit Latvia on 23 August. The officials will hold a meeting, as well as attend celebration events.

In just three weeks, on the 23rd of August, thirty years will have passed since some two million people in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia joined hands to form a chain of people connecting the capitals of the Baltic States - Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius.
