The project "Stories of Migration - Then and Now"

The project "Stories of Migration - Then and Now" going to be presented between April 25 and May 19 at Latvian National Library. Photoexhibition "Portraits of Migration - Sweden beyond the Headlines", project "In the Trails of the Boat refugees" and a movie "Nice People".

The exhibition AccessAbility is an exhibition about life with disability and is based on personal stories of fourteen people in Sweden and fourteen people in Latvia, filled with everyday life, dreams, hope, sorrow, joy, love, family, work and leisure.

Raphael (1483–1520). Santa Caterina d’Alessandria / Italian Renaissance at the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE

Thanks to the Marche Region, Embassy of Italy in Latvia and the National Gallery of the Marche, the painting Santa Caterina d’Alessandria by Raphael, an outstanding artist of Italian Renaissance, will be on display from 21 March to 22 April 2018 at the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE in Riga (Doma laukums 6).

Exhibition ES (ARĪ) ESMU LATVIETIS / I AM LATVIAN (TOO)

The exhibit celebrates diaspora Latvian diversity, accomplishments and multi-faceted connections to Latvia. It forms a symbolic connection between Latvians throughout the world, showing migration as part of the Latvian story and the complicated formation and evolution of ethnic and national identity.

Kim? Contemporary Art Centre proudly announces a solo show by Finnish-Israeli artist Dafna Maimon. One of the themes unfolded in this exhibition is the experience of society making headway towards tolerance and togetherness which are qualities of great importance in the context of the Baltic Sea Region, Europe and the globe.

The exhibition "Akademia: Performing Life" / International exhibition series Portable Landscapes

The exhibition "Akademia: Performing Life" will look at narratives and themes springing from Akademia, a community and an alternative school that offered courses in dance, art and crafts, hosted an art gallery and a publishing house and staged theatre and dance pieces between the 1910s and 1970s in Paris.
