Exhibition "Treasures of Latvia”

The exhibition titled “Treasures of Latvia” will be displayed in several Latvian centers around the U.S. to highlight Latvia’s accomplishments in business, the arts, culture, and sports. The exhibition was funded by the Latvian Ministry of Culture.

Marking 500 years since the beginning of the Reformation and reflecting on the significant impact of early Lutheranism on the Latvian language and culture, an exhibition Luther. The Turn will be officially opened at 16.00 on 31 October, Reformation Day, at the atrium of the National Library of Latvia.

Tapio Wirkkala. Poetry in Glass, Porcelain and Silver

From 13 October to 5 December 2017 the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design (10/20 Skarnu Street, Riga) will present an exhibition of works of the outstanding Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala, Poetry in Glass, Porcelain and Silver.

Several authors from the Baltic states where chosen to be Authors of the Day for the London Book Fair – among them the renowned Latvian writer Nora Ikstena.

Contemporary art exhibition “The Borders” in London

Arthur Analts exhibition theme - the borders, is very topical both in contemporary culture and in the current political discourses. The exhibition will look at the concept of boundaries as functional, demarcating and emotional – the unity of people and the power of the ideas.
